Company History

2000
Edimedia Ukraine (formerly Edipresse Media) was founded in Ukraine as a division of the international media group Edipresse Group (Switzerland).

2003
Launch of the parenting magazine “Tviy Malyuk” (“Your Baby”), which started the parenting media segment — including the digital media 4mama.ua.
Launch of the well-known celebrity brand VIVA! Ukraine. -
2004
The charitable foundation of the magazine “Yedyna” was established.
Launch of the Custom Publishing division (corporate publications and websites). -
2005
Launch of the events division — we deliver around 80 events a year for both our own brands and our clients.
Launch of the “VIVA! Most Beautiful” award. -
2013
The company’s portfolio includes 24 publications, 10 websites, and 4 awards.

2015
A majority stake in the Ukrainian company Edipresse Ukraine (75%) is transferred to Inna Katiushchenko (Heletiuk), who had headed the company since 2003.

2016
Launch of the “Viva! Winners” project — a powerful social initiative launched by VIVA! Ukraine magazine in partnership with the 1+1 TV channel, dedicated to ATO veterans, volunteers, and Paralympians who lost parts of their bodies but not their strength of spirit. Created to help ATO veterans and other people with disabilities with sports and psychological rehabilitation and successful integration into public life.
The nationwide “Woman of Ukraine” award was established — an award recognizing the role of women in modern society.

2017
The women’s conference Connecting Women was held for the first time.

2019
The “Father of the Year” award was launched on the 4mama.ua platform. Its goal is to promote conscious fatherhood in Ukraine and honor the role of fathers. The “Father of the Year – 2023” award was dedicated to the powerful role of the Father-Defender, which became especially relevant in society after the start of the full-scale invasion.

2022
With the start of the full-scale invasion, the company continues to develop its online resources, having temporarily suspended print editions, and continues holding events for women, national awards, and charity events.
The company strengthened its activity in media, marketing, PR, and communications consulting, promoting both personal and commercial brands from communication strategy development through to full implementation support.

The national “Woman of Ukraine” award was revived — the 5th award ceremony took place.
